The key characteristic of Securian dental insurance is ease. You'll find that our dental plans, which are for small groups of two employees to large groups, are easy to understand, easy to afford and easy to use.

We offer a variety of voluntary and employer-paid indemnity and Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) dental plans. Immediately, members receive 100% coverage of preventive care with no waiting, and solid options for basic and major services. (Those with the PPO plan who opt for a non-network provider may receive reduced benefits and increased out-of-pocket costs.)

Worldwide coverage: If you need emergency dental care while traveling or living abroad, call our international service center. An English-speaking customer service representative will assist you with finding a dentist. We have dentists located throughout Europe, Africa, South America and Asia. To find a dentist, refer to our International Dentist listing. If your overseas dentist is not listed, please fill out our dentist nomination form and we’ll contact him or her about participating in our program.

If you receive dental care internationally, please pay the dentist directly and ask for a receipt. The Claim Form and Instructions for Members has important information regarding this process. Print out the claim form and submit it along with the receipt to the address listed on the claim form, so we can reimburse you.
